Right from the beginning, Wendy and Michael knew they needed to include their dogs, Flora and Louie, in their big day. Fortunately, Historic Preservation Park in Oakland, is dog friendly so the pups were able to join the couple in the processional. Cocktails, dinner, and dancing followed, all outdoors under a canopy of string lights. In lieu of a traditional guest book, the couple opted for two interactive options – a Polaroid selfie station and a heart drop box, where guests wrote their names on little wooden hearts then dropped them into a shadow box frame, creating a piece of art for the couple to hang on their wall.
