Nestled in the UC Botanical Garden’s Redwood Grove, Michelle and Rodrigo’s wedding felt like they were welcoming guests to a forest. The couple made sure their children were part of the special day by giving them the important roles of best man and maid of honor as well as including them as part of the custom cake topper . They incorporated Rodrigo’s Mexican heritage using the song “La Marcha de Zacatecas” as their celebratory recessional song and later treated guests to a variety of Mexican moles for dinner. They continued the garden theme with packets of seeds as favors and a wood slab “guest book” for guests to sign. The festivities continued into the night with everyone out on the deck, dancing under the stars
