How do you mix old and new? Kristin and Will did it by holding their contemporary event at the historic San Francisco Mint. The couple chose the venue in large part because both are local to the City (the bride’s father actually worked across the street for over a dozen years). They played up the building’s features by keeping the decor simple, letting the venue’s uniqueness shine. While the ceremony was a bit more traditional, they mixed things up by bringing in an instrumental surf band for cocktail hour and tucking the photo booth into one of the building’s many vaults. The day’s festivities were topped off with individual size creme brulees and churros and dancing for hours
