Four years in the making …

Back in March 2020, Debra and Mack were getting ready to head out to Mexico for their wedding when they got notice that all travel and gatherings were cancelled due to the pandemic. After the initial shock wore off, sadness set in. A few years later, the couple decided they were ready to shake off that disappointment and get back to the planning. As they now lived in Vancouver, WA, they decided to look at venues in the Pacific Northwest region. During their search, they came across Lucy’s Garden in Ridgefield, WA. One of the first things Debra wanted to book was a pair of alpacas (I think her level of excitement about the alpacas came in just under marrying Mack). They also decided they’d incorporate a few of the items they originally were planning to use in Mexico including a piñata that they smashed to pieces during their reception. While it may have taken a little longer to see the celebration through to fruition, the end result was they’re married! Congratulations, Debra and Mack, glad to have been part of the day.
