When Rachel and Mark first started their wedding planning back in May 2022, the couple lived in San Francisco and were looking to throw a thoroughly San Franciscan affair. But, after a holiday with the family in Cincinnati, they decided it would be easier to host the wedding closer to the bride’s family in Ohio. They did a bit of hunting and found the Krippendorf Lodge, located at the Cincinnati Nature Center in Milford. We were thrilled when the couple said they’d like to continue working with us so, after a year of planning remotely, our team joined them in Ohio. As a nod to Mark’s Scottish roots, the ceremony began with the groom and his parents led in by a piper, with Rachel and her father processing to a song performed by the couple’s friend, Jay. Flowers were provided by a local grower, the guest book created by a friend, dessert cookies baked by the bride’s friends and family, and guests were sent home with little bottles of limoncello. The evening’s festivities were rounded out with pie and dancing to live music under the stars. Congratulations, Rachel and Mark, it was absolutely wonderful sharing the adventure with you!
