The plural of sheep is sheep, of jeans is jeans, and, apparently, of Lego is Lego. Grace and Paul met on a dating app shortly before the start of the pandemic and wound up getting to know one another by sheltering-in-place together. During their vows, Paul shared his appreciation for Grace’s attention, “when you talk with her, she makes you feel like you’re the only person in the world.” The couple’s love of Lego was just one of the little personal touches they brought to their event – guests got to make Lego images of themselves in Lego formal wear and enjoying cocktails. Along with the Lego, the couple brought in artist Kim-Vi, who created an incredible painting of the couple on-site. What really stood out when looking through the images the photographer captured was how many of the photos were of the couple laughing.
On a side note, we wanted to send a big “thank you” to the couple for their go-with-the-flow attitude and understanding. A few days before their big day, their lead coordinator, Cierra, came down with COVID. Fortunately, we have a great team and Jessica F. stepped in and took over for the day. Yay team and yay couple!!
